Official Rules
This rules hub describes the standard structure LSC uses for prize campaigns. Campaign-specific rules should be attached to each live drop before entries open.
Last updated: July 1, 2026.
No Purchase Necessary
Where required by law or campaign design, LSC provides an alternative free-entry method. Buying a ticket bundle should not be presented as the only way to enter an eligible prize campaign.
- Free-entry instructions must be available before the campaign opens.
- Free entries and paid entries should be recorded in the entry ledger.
- Entry limits apply equally unless campaign-specific rules state otherwise.
Eligibility And Entry Period
Each campaign should state eligible regions, minimum age, start date, end date, entry limits, prize description, approximate retail value, drawing date, and winner notification process.
- Employees, contractors, partners, sponsors, or household members may be restricted.
- Entries submitted outside the campaign window may be void.
- Fraudulent, automated, incomplete, or duplicate entries may be disqualified.
Drawing And Winner Verification
Drawings should be recorded or otherwise auditable. Potential winners may need to confirm eligibility, identity, shipping information, tax documentation, and release paperwork before a prize is awarded.
- Odds depend on the number of eligible entries received.
- If a winner cannot be verified or contacted, an alternate winner may be selected.
- Winner names, city/state, or winner stories may be published where permitted.
Prize Fulfillment
Prize fulfillment may depend on sourcing, authentication, seller transfer, insured shipping, carrier availability, and legal restrictions. Cash alternatives are not guaranteed unless stated in the campaign-specific rules.
- High-value items may require signature delivery or pickup coordination.
- Taxes and required reporting may be the winner responsibility where applicable.
- LSC may substitute a prize of equal or greater value where permitted if the advertised prize becomes unavailable.
